The USA Softball (12U) All-American Games kicked off on Friday in OKC. Here are the results of the pool play games:

Region 5 (Southwest) White 5, Region 1 (Northeast) Red 1: Shaylin Compton of Oklahoma City, OK, went 3 for 3 with two runs scored, Haley Gallo of Guthrie, OK, went 2 for 2, Elizabeth Andrews of Cameron, NC, went 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI, Ella Sottile of Elk City, OK, went 1 for 2 with a run scored and an RBI, Keilauna Birdtail of Tahlequah, OK, went 1 for 1 with two RBIs and Alexandra Starr of Whitesboro, TX, struck out six in 3.0 innings to lead Region 5 White.
Region 4 (South) Red 8, Region 1 (Northeast) White 3: Ava Hodo of Orange Beach, AL, went 2 for 2 with a double, a run scored and three RBIs, Haley Hart of Spanish Fort, AL, went 2 for 2 with a double and two runs scored, Hannah Jo Sullivan of Brandon, MS, went 2 for 2 with a double and two runs scored, Macy Simmons of Magnolia, MS, went 2 for 2 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI and Ruby Otts of Mayflower, AR, went 2 for 2 with a double and RBI to lead Region 4 Red,
Region 2 (Central Atlantic) Blue 5, Region 7 (Mid-America) Red 0: McKayla McGee of Broadview Heights, OH, tossed a no-hitter with six strikeouts in five innings and Caleigh Shaulis of North Canton, OH, went 2 for 2 with two runs scored to help Region 2 Blue.
Region 3 (Southeast) White 6, Region 10 (Pacific Coast) Red 1: Presley Ivey of Newnan, GA, went 1 for 2 with a triple, a stolen base and two runs scored and Madilyn Byrd of Bay Minette, FL, allowed two hits and struck out four in 4.0 innings and Katie Cunane of Powder Springs, GA, allowed one hit and one run and struck out two in 1.0 innings to lead Region 3 White.
