Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? Well, we started the organization when my dad (Tim Ramon) wanted to be my coach and be more involved. Hustle Nation has been a work in progress and continues to grow. We pride ourselves in being a family organization that develops good human beings, while making good softball players and that’s what I will keep working to be.

Alivia Ramon led her Hustle National 2K11 t0 a 10U PGF national championship.

What do you bring to the team? I bring leadership and stability for my team. I keep the team looking positive in difficult situations and always look for the opportunities for us to grow. I work hard to pitch my best game every time I toe the mound.

What areas were you focusing on/trying to improve this summer? Since my team is making the transition to 12U, my focus will be developing my pitching to adapt to the further distance and bigger ball and prepare to compete at the next level.

Alivia Ramon was a pitching and hitting standout for Hustle National 2K11.

Can you tell us about your experience at PGF Nationals this summer? It was truly amazing to be on TV at this young of an age. I felt like I was playing in a college game. The whole tournament was fun and exciting and a dream come true.

Which player/team was your toughest opponent and why? To be honest, I take every game serious and never take a team lightly. But at this tournament I would have to say Power Surge. They had great defense and hitting all around. And of course, hats off to the Beverly Bandits for always giving us such a great game.

What are your goals for the future? My goals for my softball future are to continue growing in my leadership role, and developing into the best pitcher I can become, so I can play in the Women’s College World Series one day and return to TV. All while getting a degree for my big girl future.

Who is your sports hero and why? Haley Meinen, my pitching coach who played for Tulsa, because she helps me work through my pitching and helps my mental game. She is a big part of why I am where I am today with my pitching. I hope to play in college like her one day.

What’s the best hype song and why? “Centuries” by Fall Out Boy, because of the lyrics, “I just wake up every mornin’ (Every mornin’) and go get the change, Do my own dirty work (Work) and I won’t get a stain, I’m too heavy in this game and you better know it, Hustle speaks for itself, I ain’t even gotta show it …” It really gets me pumped and ready to compete!

Do you have a secret talent/skill? I am really good at volleyball and I enjoy making and selling bracelets in my spare time, but there isn’t much of that, LOL.
