Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? I currently play for the 18U Texas Glory team under Kevin Shelton. I have been a part of the Texas Glory organization since I was 10 years old. I have truly been lucky to play for some really great coaches that have pushed me to grow my skill-set. I also am thankful for the friendships I have made with my fellow teammates. A combination of both the coaching and friends have provided some really great memories at all of our tournaments.

Do you have any suggestions for training methods or apps and why? I do a lot of fungo, running and hitting, hitting and more hitting.
Can you tell us about your experience at Alliance Nationals this summer? My team and I competed at the Alliance Nationals up in Indiana this summer. I have never been that far North before. I really enjoyed playing teams we don’t typically see in Texas where I am from. The competition was great and it really pushed us to work hard and grind this summer.
What was your favorite fall tournament/event and why? Due to my recruiting journey this past fall, I did not get to play in very many tournaments with my team. I did feel we played well in Indiana at the Alliance Nationals tourney in August.
Which player/team was your toughest opponent and why? Our toughest opponent was probably against a great Alabama Sparks team with great pitching. We were down 4-2 through 4 innings and came back to beat them 12-5. It took us a minute to get through our lineup and figure out the pitches they were throwing to start hitting more effectively. I struck out my first at-bat and then turned around and hit three home runs my next three at-bats. Our team really pulled together and communicated well throughout that battle.

What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? Not too sure what I want to be when I grow up. I enjoy playing softball, so I am hoping something develops out of my love for the game.
Can you talk about why you chose to commit to Georgia? I saw the Georgia coaches quite a bit this past summer and decided to attend a camp in Athens towards the end of the summer. I really like it there. I developed a great relationship with both Coach Tony (Baldwin) and Coach JT (D’Amico) during my recruiting process. They made me feel right at home and I enjoyed my visit. I feel they are providing me with an opportunity to really grow softball-wise in the direction I want to play and get better.
Who is your sports hero and why? I have always been a fan of Sis Bates and Kelsey Stewart. Sis Bates, as she is also a SS, I have always enjoyed watching play. She has made some amazing stops and plays that I have always been in awe of her talent. Kelsey Stewart as an Olympic softball player as I hope to play at that level someday. Kelsey always happens to be at softball camps or tryouts that I am attending and has always been encouraging and personable.
What’s the best hype song and why? “Fancy” by Drake. It has a great beat and really gets me in the mood for games.
What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? “Euphoria.” I’m a drama-free person, so it was fun to watch something I am nothing like, as it was full of drama.
Do you have a secret talent/skill? I can pogo stick like a champ as well as juggle.
