Can you talk about your efforts at the Triple Crown BLD Christmas Toy Drive recently?
The first day we lost our first two and won the third. We finished up winning the next three in a row and a championship medal for our bracket. I went 9 for 14 with 6 RBIs, scored four runs and caught several games including the (12U Copper Division) championship game. I was happy the way our team never gave up.

Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them?
My dad has been my coach since I was 4 years old —rec, All-Stars and travel. My previous team was great. I had a lot of friends on the team since it was basically my All-Star team that turned into a travel team when COVID happened. Since my dad coached, I never had to really try out so he thought it would be good for me to leave where I was comfortable and meet new players and learn from new coaches.
In September, I went to a few tryouts, but felt at home with Coach Austin and his team, who shortly after I joined became part of the new Briggs Organization. My older sister, Shayna (Glass), has gone to Briggs Training for years, so my family knew and liked Coaches Ken (Briggs) and Roseann (Briggs) and felt that it would be a good place to look.
