Tymber Harris, a 5-foot-11 RHP for EC Bullets 16U Gold-Legere/Maher, led Vidalia High of Georgia’s softball team to an AA Region 2 title and the GHSA AA state finals.
She’s also a multi-sport star in softball, basketball and track.
Here’s a closer look at his super soph to watch…

Name: TYMBER HARRIS

Club Team: EC Bullets 16U Gold-Legere/Maher
Graduation Year: 2024
Height: 5-foot-11
Position: RHP
Nickname: TYM

Honors: 1st Team All-Region freshman and sophomore years, All-State Honorable Mention sophomore year, State Runner-up Class AA, Georgia Athlete of the Week for SB Live Sports, Beta Club and National Honor Society inductee sophomore year and 12U Recreational State Champion (2019).
Travel Ball Fall Stats: 34 IP, 61 Ks and .235 OBA.
High School Highlights: Over 100 Ks for the season and pitched three no-hitters. School was state runner-up in Class AA. 70 IP, 118 Ks, 0.89 ERA, nine ER and .158 OBA.
You are a multi-sport athlete. Can you talk about your training methods and your daily routine?
Weightlifting class daily. During the offseason for softball, I play basketball and track. So on days we have early practice, I pitch before and on the days we have late practice, I pitch after. I also try to get to my pitching instructor two times a month. My goal during the offseason is to stay in shape and stay active. This helps a lot for softball. I feel like I’m able to not get wore out in games, because I stay active year-round.
Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them?
I play for EC Bullets 16U Gold-Legere/Maher. They recruited me during my school softball season.
How did your club team do this past summer and in the fall?
We did well. We finished our season earning our berth to Alliance Nationals for next year.
What should we expect from your club team?
To have a winning summer season and personally I’d like to improve some of my personal goals.
What should we expect from your high school team?
You can expect a strong defensive team. Our #1 goal for the year is to win a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP! I know we need to take it game-by-game, but we all want to win a championship.
Do you have a secret talent/skill?
I’m a history buff!
What’s your most memorable softball story?
This year’s state games. We lost our first game in Columbus and we fought all the way back to play in the championship game. It was something I’ll never forget. Also, winning the SB Live Sports GA Athlete of the Week this year, that was really cool, because it was voted on by my peers. That made me feel really good that I was nominated with a lot of great football players from the state and I was the one recognized.
