Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? I have played for the Bombers’ organization for a little over three years. Being a part of such a great program has allowed me to grow as a player and teammate. I love being a part of a competitive team and such a great culture. Can’t wait to be back in my Bomber gear this summer!

Do you have any suggestions for training methods or apps and why? I love the basics and working fundamentals on both sides of the field. Lots of tee work drills along with fielding and throwing drills. Really understanding the mechanics and committing it to muscle memory.

Cassidy Sicuro of Pineville High.

Can you tell us about your experience at Alliance Nationals this summer? Alliance Nationals this summer was amazing. I LOVED the competition, definitely some of the best of the best, the tournament reps kept everyone pumped up as we moved forward in the bracket. The atmosphere was incredible. Can’t wait to go back.

What was your favorite fall tournament/event and why? The Hotshots Invitational this fall was definitely my favorite. It bleeds intensity and competition. I left that showcase a better player. It was exciting to see the college coaches out there from all levels watching everyone showcase their skills.

Which player/team was your toughest opponent and why? Iowa Premier-James was one of the best teams I’ve had the opportunity to compete against. They were offensively stacked from 1 to 9 and had one of the best defenses I’ve seen. They made the routine and complex plays look easy. It challenged me as a hitter to find holes in the field in order to get on base. It was one of the most fun games I’ve played and made me work harder as a player.

Cassidy Sicuro of LA Bombers-Albert.

What are you looking for in a future college? Definitely a school that fits me both academically and athletically. I am looking for a college and program that will help me to continue to improve and become the best version of me no matter the level. I look forward to being part of a program that gives back to the community and the game we love.

What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? I am interested in a future in the medical field and aspire to be an orthodontist. I like the idea of helping others have a great smile and the confidence it brings them.

Who is your sports hero and why? Jose Altuve! He’s consistent, persistent and makes the most out of what he’s been given. He doesn’t let anything get in his way from giving 100 percent. He’s all out all the time.

What’s the best hype song and why? “Party in the USA” (by Miley Cyrus) always gets me pumped up. It reminds me of when I was little jamming out on my way to my Little League games. Great reminder of where this journey began.

What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? Right now, “Greys Anatomy” because I love the plot and all the drama.

Do you have a secret talent/skill? I love hand lettering and mastering different styles. I’m actually pretty good at it.
