EXTRA INNING SCOUTING REPORT
With the 2020 high school softball season approaching, TLI will be taking a look at some of the top teams in the country with the Extra Inning Scouting Report.
TLI talked to Klein Collins High of Spring, TX, coach Meghan Fisher about her Tigers, who went 38-3, reached the 6A state finals and finished #8 in the 2019 Extra Elite Eighty High School Rankings.

What will it take for your team to be successful this season? We will need to continue building and maintaining our team chemistry with such a vast mix of returners and newcomers. We will also need complete buy-in as many of our players will be asked to play new positions to maximize our strengths as a team.
Who is your No. 1 pitcher and what can you tell me about her skills? Who else could see some time in the circle? Abby Ramirez will have the bulk of the pitching responsibilities this season after having a successful sophomore season. Paige Pye and Loreley Francia Linares will also see some time in the circle.
What can we expect from your offense? A variety of hitters. We will utilize both speed and power.
Did you pick up any impact transfers or did you lose any players to transfers? No.
Who are the potential All-Section/All-District/All-State players on your team? Mia Cantu, Caley McGuff, Abby Ramirez, Nadai Almanza, Kylee Jacks, and Arwin Callaway. We also have a few freshmen that will have opportunities to receive honors this season.
