BANDITS CONTINUE STRONG SUMMER RUN
Offensively, Carley Keller, Addisyn Trackwell, Brooke Stang, Addisyn Poe and Ava Hensley came through for Beverly Bandits during their run to the PGF Midwest Firecrackers Showcase this past weekend.
“These kids came through with some clutch hits throughout the weekend along with great quality at-bats,” Bandits coach David Trackwell said. “As a whole, the team had a .928 OPS for the weekend.
Defensively, Ava Lorenzatti and Ava Ratliff had another successful weekend in the circle. Lorenzatti struck out 34 batters in 20 innings and Ratliff had 10 Ks in 17 innings.
“As always, there are things to work on and to become better,” Trackwell said. “Still need to execute the ‘smaller’ parts of the game more consistently. The chemistry with this group is amazing and the freedom of play is becoming much more vibrant and extremely fun to watch!”
