Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? The Bandits is the only travel ball team I have ever played for. I started playing for them when I was 9 years old, on the first 10U team the Bandits ever had. I have been playing for them since. I love the Bandits because I know we will always play the best of the best. It makes me a better player and I have met some of my best friends playing along the way.

What are some of your training methods/training routine? My normal training routine is to work out 2-3 days a week, and then work on hitting and defensive skills 1-2 days a week.

What areas are you focusing on/trying to improve this fall? This fall, I have been trying to work on hitting for power. I’m trying to evolve my game even more by being able to hit the ball deep and make it more difficult for teams to defend me.

Can you tell us about your experience at PGF Nationals this summer? PGF Nationals was one of the greatest experiences for me. We went into that tournament as back-to-back champs at IDT and Easton/Rawlings. We made it to the championship game, but ended up coming in second. The whole experience is something I will never forget.

Which player/team was your toughest opponent and why? Georgia Impact-Caymol. We played them in our first tournament in FL, and struggled a little against them, so I knew when we faced them in the national championship game, it would be tough. They were the better team that game, and I have a lot of respect for them.

Can you talk about your decision to commit to Florida? I grew up watching Florida softball on TV and have always strived to be as good as the players there. When Sept 1st came, and I was contacted by Coach (Tim) Walton, it was a little surreal. Florida was my first official visit and I loved everything about the school and softball program. After going on other visits, I realized Florida was the place for me to make all my softball dreams a reality. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to be a Gator.

What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? I don’t know right now what I want to major in, but one area that interests me is nutrition. I do like to eat healthy and prepare my own meals, and I would like to possibly teach the importance of that to other athletes.

Who is your sports hero and why? My sports heroes are my brother and cousins. They have been great role models and have really set a good example of what it takes to be a successful student-athlete. I owe a lot of what I know and how I play the game to them.

What’s the best hype song and why? “Narcos” by Migos. You can’t help but get hyped when you listen to it.

What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? The “Untold” series on Netflix. They are just so interesting to watch!

Do you have a secret talent/skill? I am a good dancer!
