LET THE 2022 RECRUITING MADNESS … BEGIN!!!

TLI will be taking a look at the exciting recruiting news and notes from Day 1 of the official 2022 recruiting season.

We start off with Georgia Impact Premier-Lewis IF/P Alexis “Axe” Milanowski, #74 in the 2022 Extra Elite 100, who had a busy September 1st right from 12:01 a.m.

“It’s as awesome as I had dreamed it would be!!” Milanowski told Extra Inning Softball via Twitter. “I received several text and emails from SEC, ACC, and Big East conferences at midnight and I got a call from an SEC program at midnight!”

“It’s so great to finally get to talk to the coaches and see who is really interested in me! I’ve been working so hard for this time and to see it paying off is indescribable!! Now it’s time to enjoy the process and keep grinding!”

EC Bullets-Mayfield/Biele RHP Olivia Cato, #52 in the 2022 Extra Elite 100, has been making her mark on the national scene and her hard work has paid off with a ton of attention from college recruiters.

“Today has been SO MUCH FUN,” Cato told us via text. “My phone’s been blowing up and I already did a Zoom call with the Troy coaches earlier today. I’ve gotten texts, emails and DMs from Troy, Louisiana Lafayette, College of Charleston, Coastal Carolina, Seton Hall, Pittsburgh, Georgia State, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Purdue, Georgia Tech, NC State, Georgia Southern, Florida State, Southern Illinois Edwardsville, Florida International and Mercer. I didn’t get any midnight calls, but I did get a bunch of texts at 12:00 am!”
