Day Three of the 2019 USA Softball Junior Olympic (JO) Cup marked the beginning of the double elimination quest for the championship title in all three of the competing divisions.
The winner’s bracket was narrowed down to eight remaining teams per division while the loser’s bracket will now begin fighting to stay alive for a shot at the trophy.

Earning wins in the first round of the 14-Under division bracket play included the ATL Vipers, Carolina Elite NC, EC Bullets, FL Impact, GA Hotshots Platinum, Glory Adkins, Hotshots Platinum, KC Zephyrs, LA Blazers, Lady Lightening Gold, Orion Hunter, TX Sudden Impact and St. Louis Chaos.
In the winner’s bracket match-ups, the Carolina Elite NC, LA Blazers, TX Sudden Impact, FL Impact, St. Louis Chaos, Hotshots Platinum, KC Zephyrs and Glory Adkins Gold recorded wins, making them the eight undefeated teams in the 14-Under division who will face off tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET.

In the 16-Under division, it was the ATL Vipers – Billings, ATL Vipers – Trowell, Glory Adkins – Berkhiser, Glory Adkins – Fultz, Gold Coast Hurricanes, IN Dreams, IN Shockwaves, OH Outlaws – Hoffner, OK Bombers, OK Impact, Prospex, SC Elite, St. Louis Chaos – Mohan, Tampa Mustangs, TN Mojo, Vision Fastpitch and Williamsburg Starz who recorded wins in the first round of bracket play.
In the fight to remain in the winner’s bracket, OK Bombers, IN Shockwaves, St. Louis Chaos, SC Elite, Tampa Mustangs, Williamsburg Starz, TN Mojo and Glory Adkins – Berkhiser came out on top, claiming their spot in the four winners bracket match ups set for tomorrow at 5 p.m. ET.

The 18-Under division recorded first-round wins from ATL Vipers, Conklin Raiders, Gametime Starz, GA Power, Glory Adkins, Illusions Premier, KC Zephyrs, LA Blazers, MI Finesse, Rock Gold, Santa Fe Inferno, St. Louis Chaos, TN Fury, Turnin2, VA Unity and Carolina Elite.
As they continued on in the winner’s bracket, GA Power, Glory Adkins, Gametime Stars, MI Finesse, Rock Gold, Illusions Premier, Carolina Elite and TN Fury earned wins and are scheduled to compete in the winner’s bracket tomorrow at 5 p.m. ET and narrow the 18-Under division undefeated field down to four.
