Highlighting Emerging Talents

In this unique rankings cycle for the Class of 2026, Extra Inning Softball is offering two distinct paths—one for committed players and one for those still uncommitted. Learn more HERE!

All athletes use the same nomination form and are eligible for the National Honor Roll and Hitters Hotlists, but how they’re ranked depends on their commitment status.

Committed players are evaluated on a regional level, and are featured in our Division Watch Lists across JUCO, DIII, DII, Mid-Major, and Power 4 programs.

Uncommitted players receive both regional and national rankings. Both groups have opportunities to be recognized—but the exposure strategies differ based on where they are in the recruiting process.

Uncommitted players also have the opportunity to be featured in our new Fast Friday: Getting on the Radar weekly series—designed specifically to highlight uncommitted players with stats, profiles, and photos.

Now let’s take a look at which infielders are already turning heads early.
