Georgia Pitcher Shines After Knee Injury
Alina Muhammad, a 2026 graduate of Peachtree Ridge High School and a standout P/1B for Georgia Power – King, is living proof that even when life knocks you down, there’s always a way back up. The rising junior faced one of the toughest setbacks an athlete can endure—an injury at the worst possible time. But through it all, Muhammad, ranked as the No. 48 Class of 2026 pitcher in the Southeast Region by Extra Inning Softball, showed resilience, patience, and a deep love for the game that fueled her recovery.
