For two consecutive summers, the all-time winningest NCAA softball coach has retired. In 2021, it was Mike Candrea, the legendary Arizona coach who departed after leading the Wildcats to one final Women’s College World Series appearance. Then in August, legendary Michigan head coach Carol Hutchins – who took over the all-time wins record from Candrea during the 2022 season – announced her own retirement.

The wins leader will come as no surprise to most softball fans, though the remainder of the list could be interesting. Onto the Top 10!
