Due to overwhelming interest and increased holiday-season demand, Extra Inning Softball has officially reopened nominations for the second annual 10U & 12U Rising Stars Watch List. This extension allows families and coaches additional time during the busy holiday season to ensure deserving young athletes are recognized.
The Rising Stars Watch List highlights standout 10U and 12U athletes from the Classes of 2031, 2032, 2033, and 2034—players who are already showing advanced skill, competitive fire, and a genuine love for the game. These are the hitters driving gaps, pitchers attacking the circle, and defenders making game-changing plays.
If an athlete is showing promise and passion early, she deserves to be celebrated.

Why the Rising Stars Watch List Matters
Now entering its second year, the Rising Stars Watch List has quickly become one of Extra Inning Softball’s most respected youth recognition programs. Unlike rankings, this initiative focuses on development, effort, and potential, ensuring recognition supports long-term growth rather than pressure.
Early recognition, when done the right way, builds confidence and motivation. It also gives families and coaches a national platform to follow an athlete’s journey as she continues to mature within the sport. Quite frankly, youth recognition should inspire—not label—and this program does exactly that.
