TEAM 1 FASTPITCH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS HIGHLIGHTS

IN 18U WINNER’S BRACKET THIRD ROUND GAMES:

Aces Fastpitch Black 16U 5, KC Elite Gold-Gutierrez 2: Aynslee Linduff went 2 for 3 with two runs scored, Hannah Camenzind went 2 for 2 with a run scored and Zoe Caryl went 1 for 2 with a triple, a run scored and two RBIs for the Aces, #30 in the Extra Elite Eighty 16U Club Rankings.

Aces Fastpitch Black-Taylor 10, South Dakota Renegades 0: Addie Lightner went 1 for 2 with a grand slam and five RBIs, Ashton Maloney went 3 for 3 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI, Kinsey Fiedler went 2 for 3 with a double, a run scored and three RBIs and Kenzie Schopfer pitched a three-hit shutout with four strikeouts in five innings for the Aces, #8 in the Extra Elite Eighty 18U Club Rankings.

Ryan Taylor’s top Aces Fastpitch 16U and 18U teams will collide in the fourth round of the winner’s bracket on Sunday at 1:15 p.m. CT.

Nebraska Quakes Prime 10, Missouri So Cal Athletics-Heinlein 4: Tatum Villotta went 2 for 3 with a double and two runs scored, Abby Jo Gaube went 3 for 3 with a double, three runs scored and two RBIs, Katie Palmer went1 for 2 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI and Bre Schneidewind and Tory Villotta both went 2 for 3 with two RBIs for the Quakes.

KC Zephyrs-Craig 6, Iowa Premier Gold-Dickel 5: Abby Allnutt went 2 for 3 with a homer and four RBIs, Kelena Oots went 1 for 2 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI and Bella Wilson went 2 for 3 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI to help the Zephyrs upset Iowa Premier, #22 in the Extra Elite Eighty 18U Club Rankings.

NOTE: KC Elite Gold-Gutierrez, Orland Park A’s-Stoker, Missouri So Cal Athletics-Heinlein, Colorado Angels-Quimby, Iowa Premier Gold-Dickel and South Dakota Gold 02 remain alive in the loser’s bracket.

IN 16U WINNER’S BRACKET FOURTH ROUND GAMES:

Texas Glory KS-Way 3, Aces Fastpitch Purple 2: Audrey Steinart scored from third on a passed ball for the go-ahead run in the bottom of the fifth and Texas Glory held on for the win.

Nebraska Gold-Roberts 8, Iowa Premier-Meyer 6: Mary Chvatal scored on an error and Hannah Roberts had an RBI double as Nebraska Gold rallied for two runs in the top of the sixth to pull out the win.

NOTE: Iowa Premier Gold-KC, Originals KC 16U, Kansas Renegades-Paull/Forney, Indiana Magic Gold-Kleiner, Midwest Power 16A, Prospect Elite 03 Mid-Mo, Originals 22/23, Iowa Premier-Meyer and Aces Fastpitch Purple remain alive in the loser’s bracket.
