Cameron Maurer, a 2028 catcher and outfielder for Desert Thunder 16U in Marana, Arizona, is proving herself as a player to watch. Under the guidance of Coach Arnold Mares, Maurer has developed into a defensive powerhouse with a quick 1.90 pop time and exceptional accuracy in throwdowns. Last season, she threw out 33% of runners attempting to steal, a testament to her quick reflexes, strong arm, and advanced game awareness.
