Announcing: 2025 Extra Elite Player of the Week – You Decide!
Softball fans, it’s time to make your voice heard! Extra Inning Softball is excited to launch the Extra Elite Player of the Week – People’s Choice, where the softball community gets to vote for the top high school player of the week.
This is your chance to support the athletes making an impact on the field and recognize their standout performances. Each week, EIS will select four finalists, and the fans will vote to determine the winner. The player with the most votes will earn the Extra Elite Player of the Week honor and be featured on Extra Inning Softball!
How It Works
📌 Step 1: Submit Nominations
- Nominations open every Friday and close on Sunday at 11:59 PM EST.
- Coaches, parents, teammates, and fans can nominate players who had standout performances during the week.

📌 Step 2: EIS Selects the Top 4 Finalists
- The Extra Inning Softball team will review nominations and select the top four standout players.
📌 Step 3: Fan Voting Opens
- Voting will begin every Monday at 5 PM EST at Dugout Discussions Polls.
- Fans will have 48 hours to cast their vote, with polls closing on Wednesday at 5 PM EST.
📌 Step 4: Winner Announced
- The player with the most votes will be named the Extra Elite Player of the Week!
- The winner will be announced every Thursday at 6 PM EST on Extra Inning Softball and our social media channels.
First Vote Begins February 17th!
The first round of nominations will open on Saturday, February 15th, with voting kicking off on Monday, February 17th, at 5 PM EST. Fans will have until Wednesday, February 19th, at 5 PM EST to vote, and the first-ever Extra Elite High School Player of the Week will be announced on Thursday, February 20th, at 6 PM EST.
