Extra Inning Softball Opens Class of 2028 Nominations, Debuts MyEIS360™ Profile, 5-Star Ratings, and Stronger Verification
PGF Nationals 2026

Extra Inning Softball has officially opened nominations for its Class of 2028 National Rankings, kicking off the next national evaluation cycle with the biggest lineup of updates the organization has introduced to date.

This cycle brings the launch of the new MyEIS360 athlete profile, a free, all-in-one player hub now included with membership; a brand-new 5-Star Rating System paired with every athlete’s national ranking; stronger verification standards and continued use of Extra Inning Softball’s proprietary SERV™ Methodology, which ensures every athlete receives an individual ranking with no ties.

Coaches, parents, and organizations may submit nominations with the nomination window remaining open through October 5, 2026. Nominate HERE

As part of this new cycle, Extra Inning Softball is also excited to introduce the new MyEIS360athlete profile, now available for existing softball members. The profile is completely free to view, and more details can be found below.

What Is the MyEIS360 Athlete Profile?

The MyEIS360™ athlete profile is a comprehensive, all-in-one digital hub designed to give athletes a single place to showcase their softball journey to coaches, recruiters, and evaluators nationwide.

Rather than scattering stats, video, and background information across multiple platforms, athletes now have one centralized, easy-to-share profile that presents a complete 360-degree view of who they are as a player and a person.

Key features of the MyEIS360™ allows athletes and parents to edit their own profile which includes performance snapshots, media vault, rankings history, achievements, recruiting, a shareable link and so much more!

The MyEIS360™ athlete profile is free for EIS members to create, and anyone can view a profile once it’s live — allowing college coaches and recruiting staff across the country to access an athlete’s information at no cost, making it easier than ever for talent to be discovered and evaluated fairly.

A Stronger, More Transparent Evaluation Process

The launch of MyEIS360 comes alongside broader improvements to the Class of 2028 nomination and evaluation process. This cycle’s enhancements are designed to give athletes a greater visibility and recognition and provide a more athlete-centered experience through tools like the MyEIS360 athlete profile.

“Every cycle, our goal is to make the nomination and evaluation process more accessible and more accurate,” said CEO, Bonnie Holland. “With the introduction of the MyEIS360 athlete profiles, we’re giving athletes a modern, free tool to present themselves to the softball community while we continue building out a national rankings process that reflects real performance and character on and off the field.”

New EIS Rankings Leaderboard
New 5-Star Rating System⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This year also brings a standout upgrade to how athletes are evaluated: Extra Inning Softball’s new 5-Star Rating System.

Alongside their national numerical ranking, every ranked athlete will now be assigned a 5-Star Rating, giving coaches, families, and evaluators a clearer read on each player’s overall standing and future upside.

For the first time, these rankings will be showcased on Extra Inning Softball’s brand-new interactive leaderboard, giving college coaches, travel organizations, families, and fans a simple way to browse and follow standout athletes nationwide.

Stronger Verification Standards

Rankings integrity gets a boost this cycle with a new requirement: verified performance data.

As part of the nomination process, nominators must now include screenshots from GameChanger, AGL, or another verified statistics platform. This added layer lets the Rankings Committee confirm each athlete’s performance data firsthand, ensuring every nomination is evaluated against the same consistent standard.

Built on Credibility

Extra Inning Softball continues to set itself apart through a rigorous evaluation process built around verified performance, long-term development, and national competitiveness.

Unlike another rankings company that recently published 605 athletes tied within its Top 100 for the Class of 2030, Extra Inning Softball does not issue tied rankings. Every athlete earns an individual national placement through the organization’s proprietary SERV™ Methodology, and full evaluation process.

“Our philosophy has always been that athletes deserve an honest evaluation,” said Holland. “Every ranking represents months of research, discussion, verification, and collaboration. We do not publish tied rankings because every athlete earns an individual placement through our evaluation process.”

The evaluation process is guided by Extra Inning Softball’s proprietary SERV™ Methodology, which includes:

(S) Software — Organizing and analyzing nomination data through proprietary technology.

(E) Evaluate — Comprehensive review conducted by the National Rankings Committee.

(R) Research — Tournament evaluations, performance history, statistics, schedules, and athlete development.

(V) Verify — Cross-checking information through verified statistics, Region Leaders, trusted coach feedback, and multiple layers of review.

Combined with national scouting, regional expertise, and committee collaboration, the SERV™ Methodology helps ensure every nomination receives a consistent, objective evaluation.

Coaches and Parents Encouraged to Collaborate

Parents are welcome to submit nominations directly, but Extra Inning Softball strongly encourages families to work alongside their athlete’s coach whenever possible. Coaches are often best positioned to help ensure a nomination includes accurate statistics, complete tournament history, and the right supporting materials.

At the same time, organizations and coaches are encouraged to pass nomination information along to their athletes and families, so no qualified player misses the chance to be considered.

Check Your Athlete’s Nomination Status

To help families and coaches stay informed throughout the process, Extra Inning Softball has introduced a Nomination Tracker page, where parents and coaches can check whether their athlete has already been nominated for the Class of 2028 National Rankings.

Please note: we only need one nomination for each athlete. Before submitting, be sure to check the Nomination Tracker to confirm your athlete hasn’t already been nominated by a coach, parent, or organization.

For a full breakdown of everything needed to submit a nomination — including required stats, supporting materials, and eligibility details — visit the Nomination Criteria page.
