As Extra Inning Softball embarks on its mission to uphold our new EIS 2.0 Initiative to Empower, Inspire and Support all participants in the game of softball, we begin that transition by revealing our enhanced rankings for the Class of 2029.
Our new rankings format features a shift from ranking individual players at a seventh and eighth grade level to ranking their age group by teams, both regionally and nationally. Read more HERE!
This strategic shift reflects our dedication to fostering a team-oriented approach to the development and recognition of young athletes. By prioritizing team rankings for this age group, we aim to highlight the collective efforts and achievements of teams, coaches, and players, emphasizing the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and overall team dynamics in the sport.
Day two of our Region Four (Southwest) rankings highlights the Top 50Â teams from the region which includes six states (Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas) listed alphabetically.
Tomorrow (Feb. 14) we will reveal the Top 25 Teams in Region Four (Southwest).
As a reminder, once the rankings for all six regions have been unveiled, we will continue the excitement by announcing the Extra Elite 100 National Teams Rankings for the Class of 2029. This prestigious list will showcase the very best teams from across the country, representing the pinnacle of achievement in fastpitch softball.
