Club News: 24 Teams in OKC to Compete in This Weekend’s 5th-Annual USA Softball All-American Games

Elite athletes in the 12-Under Junior Olympic (JO) fastpitch division will once again gather at the Softball Capital of the World® for the fifth-annual USA Softball All-American Games.

Slated for August 12-15, the 2021 USA Softball All-American Games will feature 24 teams representing their respective regions from across the country.

The prestigious 12U event will provide national exposure for the 360 participating athletes as they showcase their skills and compete for the coveted USA Softball All-American Games trophy.

All participating players had the opportunity to take part in Softball Factory’s Player Camp on Thursday, August 12 before officially kicking off the USA Softball All-American Games on Friday, August 13 with a meet-and-greet featuring 2020 U.S. Softball Olympic silver medalists Valerie Arioto, Bubba Nickles, and Kelsey Stewart from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. CT followed by the Opening Ceremony at 3 p.m. CT.

Participants will be treated to a motivational speech by Keynote Speaker and Hall of Fame member, Leah O’Brien-Amico.

Teams will begin pool play following the Opening Ceremony on Friday at 5 p.m. CT with the fight to determine bracket seeding continuing through Saturday, August 14.

All teams will compete in two pool-play games before heading into single-elimination bracket play on Sunday, August 15 with the Championship contest slated for 6:30 p.m. CT on the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium – OGE Energy Field.

Admission, which will be sold at the gate of the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex, is $8 per-day for spectators, with free admission for children eight-and-under. Weekend passes will also be available for purchase on site for $24.
