Club Players Nationwide Answer this Important Question: “What’s Your #1 Wish or Request for Christmas?”

Peyton Bryant’s Christmas request has to do with next year’s softball season.

Christmas is upon us and Santa is especially excited to grant softball players their top requests and wishes this year.

To help our friend Kris Kringle, we asked travel ball players across the country this question:

“What’s Your #1 Wish or Request for Christmas?”

Below are some of our favorite responses (and Santa’s too!)… and we hope everyone gets what they wanted, be it a present that fits in a stocking, under the tree or elsewhere (like in a barn or parked in the driveway!).

I would like a PGF Premier National Championship in 2023
Avery Motroni (C/UT, 2025) SoCal Athletics Richardson, San Bruno CA

Ryleigh Smith got her present early from Santa!

My Christmas wish was a new outfield glove and I received it early this year. My old glove was falling apart and was uncomfortable to use. I wasn’t able to replace it after trying to get it restrung multiple time so my Pop (aka Santa) bought me a new one so that I can begin to break it in for the spring season!
Ryleigh Smith (C/OF, 2025) VA Glory National 16U Mertz-Griffith, Ocean City, Maryland

My #1 wish for Christmas would have to be hitting a walk-off grand slam this year in club ball!  I have hit many over-the-fence home runs but never a grand slam and to have it be a walk-off, though I did hit a 3-run walk-off OTF home run years ago in high school ball. That would be THE BEST!
Sarah Breaux (CIF, 2025) Tampa Mustangs – Seymour, Doral, Florida

*****

My Christmas wish for this year is for good weather in the upcoming spring season so we do not have any game cancellations.
Cate Stoklas (UT, 2027), Impact Gold 14 – Soliz, Gravevine, Texas

*****

My No. 1 Christmas wish is for a good spring season. We have some big events on the schedule, and I wish everyone safe travels, and that we all have good experiences doing what we love.
Peyton Bryant (C/UT, 2027) Impact Gold – Soliz, Sulphur Springs, Texas

*****

My #1 request for Christmas this year is to see kindness and love be spread much more throughout our country. These are virtues that God wants.
Mia Galella (CIF, 2025), VA Glory 18U – Willemssen, Madison Township, Pennsylvania

*****

Kodi Crabtree’s top Christmas wish is to help her with something in the circle!

My #1 Christmas wish for 2022 would be for me to perfect my curveball finally! And if some Morgan Wallen tickets were to show up in my stocking, too, I wouldn’t complain!
Takoda “Kodi” Crabtree (P/1B, 2025), AZ Storm 16U – Appel, Sunnyslope, Georgia

*****

My Christmas wish is for my teammates and me to be safe on the drives to our many tournaments this season and also win a big Alliance championship!
Alaina Allyn (IF/P, 2026), Illinois Force 14U – Hutchinson, Mount Vernon, Indiana

*****

I wish for either a new pair of cleats (since sharp cleats are amazing for school ball) or tickets to see Luke Bryan in concert.
Kaitlyn Russ (OF, 2025), Adiktiv Elite 18U – Hutchinson, Dothan, Alabama.

*****

My Christmas wish this year is for a miniature donkey.
Rylee Marx (P/1B, 2027), Impact Gold Soliz, Fort Worth, Texas

Lalia Mejia’s wish is to impress someone very special to her.

My wish this Christmas season is to hit 58 mph overhand throw as a gift for my dad. See, it has just been just my Dad and I since I was one years old and softball was our thing. Even before he retired from the Army, he would spend hours catching for me, teaching me to hit, playing catch, and anything I wanted to do. No matter the time or day he has never said no to help me practice. He says he just “loves to watch me do my thing.”

Even though I just turned 11, I’m throwing 55 mph overhand, hit 70 mph exit velo, and made the bracket/starting catcher position for the Bandits! That was all thanks to my Dad’s help. I just want to show him how much I appreciate his help, support, and love. My goal is 60 mph before 12 and I see how proud and happy he gets when I hit a new record. I know 58 mph will make his eyes light up and he might even dance!
