For many young athletes at Extra Inning Softball, a glove, bat, helmet and pair of cleats are simply part of playing softball.
For others, those same pieces of equipment can be the reason they never step onto the field.
That reality changed the way Dilynn Yohe looked at the sport she loves—and ultimately inspired her to create Swinging for Sisters Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping provide softball equipment and resources to girls who may otherwise struggle to afford them.
