Petrillo: Diamond Elite Hitter

Olivia Petrillo is no stranger to big moments, but her latest accolade has cemented her as one of the top offensive threats in the country. The standout shortstop from King Philip High School in Wrentham, Massachusetts, was voted Diamond Elite National High School Hitter of the Week after a dominant three-game stretch—and she didn’t just win the fan vote, she made history. With 8,602 total votes, Petrillo now holds the record for the most votes ever cast for a player in Extra Inning Softball’s Player of the Week Dugout Discussion Polls.
