The standout shortstop from King Philip High School in Wrentham, Massachusetts, was voted Diamond Elite National High School Hitter of the Week after a dominant three-game stretch—and she didn’t just win the fan vote, she made history. With 8,602 total votes, Petrillo now holds the record for the most votes ever cast for a player in Extra Inning Softball’s Player of the Week Dugout Discussion Polls.
