Scheduled for July 23 – August 3, 2026, the tournament will once again welcome 10U through 18U teams to Myrtle Beach for an extended week of competition hosted by Triple Crown Sports.

Under the leadership of East Coast Fastpitch Director Carrie Rivera, the event continues to build its reputation as one of the premier summer destinations for club softball programs seeking both strong competition and a memorable travel experience.

With 28 purpose-built softball and baseball fields, the East Coast Summer Nationals provides one of the most robust playing environments in youth fastpitch. View more tournament news here.

A Premier Destination Tournament

For many programs, the Triple Crown East Coast Summer Nationals represents more than just another tournament on the schedule—it’s a destination event that blends competitive softball with the excitement of a coastal getaway.

Now celebrating more than 15 years in Myrtle Beach, the event has grown into a summer staple for fastpitch organizations across the country. According to tournament organizers, the location plays a major role in the tournament’s continued success.

Families attending the event have access to the many attractions that make Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach a popular summer travel destination, including beaches, oceanfront restaurants, boardwalk entertainment, and family attractions.

When games conclude, teams can relax on the sand, explore the city’s vibrant tourist districts, or enjoy time together away from the field.

That combination of competitive softball and family travel experience has helped the East Coast Summer Nationals become a favorite on many club team schedules.

Designed for Competitive Play

Beyond the setting, tournament organizers focus heavily on delivering a high-quality competitive environment.

The event structure emphasizes fairness and meaningful competition through a pool-play format that transitions into bracket play, ensuring teams have opportunities to compete for championships while gaining valuable game experience.

Another unique advantage is the layout of the playing complexes, where fields are spaced strategically to allow coaches and families to monitor multiple teams within the same organization more easily.

This thoughtful design supports organizations traveling with multiple age divisions.

Facilities Built for Elite Events

One of the defining characteristics of the Triple Crown East Coast Summer Nationals is the quality of its facilities.

The tournament utilizes 28 state-of-the-art fields designed specifically for high-level baseball and softball competition.

These complexes feature professional-grade lighting, modern amenities, and meticulously maintained playing surfaces that provide athletes with a true championship-level environment.

For players competing during the summer travel season, the ability to perform on top-tier fields enhances both safety and performance while delivering a professional event feel.

A Culture-Building Experience

Beyond wins and losses, many organizations view the East Coast Summer Nationals as an opportunity for team development.

Traveling together for a multi-day event naturally creates opportunities for bonding, and the beachside location adds another dimension to the experience.

Between games, teams often gather for group meals, beach outings, and team-building activities that strengthen chemistry heading into the remainder of the travel season.

Simply put, the event embodies a concept many coaches appreciate:

Beach + softball = a built-in culture builder.
