Event News: Week 2 of PGF Nationals Officially Cancelled Due to COVID-19 & California Restrictions

Following the news that came out exactly one week ago today that Week 1 of PGF Nationals would be cancelled, Dan Hay, the Co-Founder and President/CEO of PGF sent out a release today confirming that Week 2 will also be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This week’s news impact the 14U, 12U and 10U ages which were scheduled to compete in Orange County, California from August 2-9, 2020.

Last week’s release covered the 18U and 16U ages along with the PGF High School All-Star Game.

While events are taking place elsewhere in the country, Hays pointed out that “On July 8th our California Governor reinstated his lockdown and restrictions on youth sports.”

The PGF President also says that National Qualifier refunds have been completed and the National Championship Refund/Carryover policy regarding the 2020 National Championship Entry Fees will be determined “in the next few weeks.”
