GEORGIA IMPACT-SAMPSON CLAIMS 18U TITLE
Georgia Impact-Sampson, #42 in the Extra Elite Eighty 18U Club Rankings, went undefeated for the weekend en route to a 6-0 victory over EC Bullets-Colvin in the final to claim the 18U title at Westside Park on Sunday in Atlanta, GA.
Jacksonville State-bound LHP P Amber Reid and Washington-committed 2024 RHP Morgan Reimer combined on a two-hitter over five innings in the final. Louisville-committed 2024 C/OF Madison Pickens hit a three-run homer, Georgia Tech-committed 2024 OF Alyssa Willard drove in two runs with a two-out double and Ole Miss-committed 2024 IF Mackenzie Pickens added a solo homer to provide the offense in the championship game.
“The team only having 10 players this weekend — three of them being pitchers — all contributed at the plate for 62 runs and only giving up 7,” Impact coach Brett Sampson said. “It was a great team combined effort. Good start to our season.”
Impact-Sampson defeated EC Bullets-Bilz, 11-0, EC Bullets-Ashley/Waller, 11-1, Geprgia Thunderbolts-Carver, 7-0, and Bullets-Colvin in bracket play on Sunday.
Bullets-Colvin beat Lady Dukes National Premier, 7-2, EC Bullets-Morris, 5-1, Atlanta Vipers 18U-Tamborra, 4-2, and lost to Impact-Sampson in bracket play on Sunday.
IMPACT-HOLCOMBE TAKES OUT BOMBERS-FREEMAN/DAVIS IN 16U FINAL
Georgia Impact-Holcombe went 7-0 for the tournament, beating Bombers Gold 07-Freeman/Lewis, 5-2, in the 16U final on Sunday at Heritage Point Park in Dalton, GA.
In the championship game 2026 OF Alyssa Ramsey went 1 for 2 with two stolen bases, 2025 MIF Presley Ivey went 1 for 2 an RBI, 2025 IF/UT Harmony Jackson went 1 for 3 with an RBI, 2026 C/SS/1B Addie Joiner went 1 for 1 with an RBI and 2026 MIF Alex Williams had two steals.
2025 P Abby Lovell pitched eight innings, allowing no runs on four hits with 14ks while 2025 P Katie Cunane pitched 19 innings, allowing 10 hits with 15 Ks and a 2.21 ERA for the tournament.
Offensive highlights over the weekend were Ramsey, who led the team with nine hits batting .562 with a .588 OBP and six stolen bases, Ivey, who batted .538 with a .667 OBP and two steals, Williams, who batted .400 with .526 OBP, six stolen bases and three doubles, and Jackson, who batted .333 and with a .500 OBP.
Impact-Holcombe beat AP Gold 07-White, 5-1, AP Gold-Stewart, 9-0, Carolina Cardinals Nationals-Sars, 4-3, and Bombers-Freeman/Davis in bracket play on Sunday.
Bombers-Freeman/Davis beat Firecrackers GA-Groves, 10-6, Atlanta Vipers 16U-Tamborra, 5-2, Georgia Impact Premier-O’Neal, 8-1, and lost to Impact-Holcombe in bracket play on Sunday.
MARUCCI PATRIOTS TAKE DOWN BOMBERS-LATHAM IN 14U FINAL
Marucci Patriots SE Gold 08-Whitley went undefeated in seven games, beating Bombers 08 Gold-Latham, 5-4, in the 14U final on Sunday at Edwards Park in Whitfield County, GA. Marucci Patriots-Whitley has a 23-game winning streak.
2026 CF Ava Metz went 3 for 3 with a three-run bomb, 2027 SSAlex Becker went 2 for 2 with a triple and 2026 P Kate Lott was the winning pitcher, allowing five hits and three walks for Marucci Patriots-Whitley in the championship game.
Becker, 2026 P/DH Olivia Woodgeard and 2026 C Madison Whitley combined for 27 hits and Marucci Patriots-Whitley hit .352 as a team for the tournament.
In 39 innings and 166 batters faced, the Patriots gave up 20 runs and had a team era of 2.33.
Marucci Patriots-Whitley beat EC Bullets 09-King, 5-0, GA Fury Platinum-Cromer, 5-2, Team Bullpen 08 Black, 4-3, and Bombers-Latham in bracket play on Sunday.
Bombers-Latham defeated Lady Dukes National-Savage, 5-1, Team NC 09-Bowman, 9-4, Impact Gold 08 GA, 10-0, and lost to Marucci Patriots-Whitley in bracket play on Sunday.
ATLANTA VIPERS-LYNCH STOPS AP GOLD 2010 IN 12U FINAL
Atlanta Vipers 2010-Lynch went unbeaten in six games and knocked off Atlanta Premier Gold 2010, 9-2, in the championship game to win the 12U title on Sunday at Heritage Point Park in Dalton, GA.
2028 C Peyton Currie caught all six games and went 8 for 15, 2028 1B Taylor Leech batted .583, 2029 2B Marley Hall hit .500, 2028 3B KiKi Crawford hit her first homer of the season and 2028 P/OF Payton Yi allowed two earned runs in 15 IP for the weekend for the Vipers.
Atlanta Vipers-Lynch beat Shock Ocanee Fastpitch, 16-0, Team Georgia 2010-Ledden, 5-4, and Atlanta Premier Gold 2010 in bracket play on Sunday.
Atlanta Premier Gold 2010 defeated Firecrackers GA 2010-Castle, 2-1, Georgia Impact-Hartman, 6-1, and lost to Atlanta Vipers-Lynch in bracket play on Sunday.
