There are multiple ways to get on base and Hit By Pitch is one of them. Fortunately, the scorebook doesn’t reflect where the struck batter was plunked.
Abby Brand of the Texas Bomber STX 16U Bryant couldn’t avoid this pitch and she laughed when she was the photo saying, “It looks like I’m pooping softballs!”
Taken at the Lone Star Tournament in Brenham, Texas two weekends ago, photographer Holly Anthony commented: “I’ve caught many balls hitting player but this is the first time in the rear.”
