RHP/OF Addisen Fisher, #5 in the 2024 Extra Elite 100, is a fun-loving teenager with drive and determination, but it’s her Clint Eastwood-like staredowns and demeanor on the field that have become legendary for her NW Bullets 18U-Campos teammates.
“Addi drives our team by being an incredibly competitive teammate,” Oregon State-bound 3B/1B Kaiae Higa said. “Clearly, her performance and stone-cold stare while on the rubber have made routine through years of hard work. Who doesn’t love a young athlete that plays like their age could never hinder them?
“Addi’s unbeatable mindset makes her lethal no matter her opponent, and she proves that pitch-by-pitch. After three outs, you can always find her in the dugout giving credit to the rest of her defense with a big smile.”
LMU-bound C/IF Taylor Fitch can’t wait to see what’s next for Fisher, the reigning Oregon Gatorade State Plater of the Year.
“Playing with Addi for the last three years has been an amazing experience,” Fitch said. “Not only is she extremely talented, but she is a great teammate and she is constantly striving to be the best. She undoubtedly has a big future ahead of her, especially because her attitude and relentless passion for softball will take her so far. I’m so thankful to be her teammate and I can’t wait to keep cheering her on as she accomplishes amazing things.”
Stanford-bound SS River Mahler, who has nicknamed Fisher “Fish Stick,” is impressed by Fisher’s endurance.
“I would say Addi’s endurance on the field is something that sets her apart from other pitchers,” Mahler said. “Our team relies heavily on her throughout tournaments where she pitches just about every game. Fish Sticks is very consistent with her performances and we can always depend on her to get the job done regardless if she is tired; she never shows it, instead she puts her head down and goes to work.”

Tell us about the Northwest Bullets organization and what it means to you…
My family and I live in Central Oregon, about 3 hours away from where the NW Bullets are based out of (they are just south of Portland, Oregon). It was something my parents discussed about doing when I was older, around 13-14 years old. I had played softball in Central Oregon for several years and when I was 10 years old, I had the opportunity to go play in Florida with other girls my age, most of them being from California. I had so much fun playing with girls my age at such a high level of competition.
When we got back from Florida, I told my mom and dad that I really wanted to go play with kids that wanted to compete AND win. So, two days later, we went up to Portland for the last scheduled Bullets tryout. I wanted to see how I matched up with the other players my age and, to be honest, I didn’t really think I’d make the team. My parents told me that if I didn’t make the team, I had to work hard and come back and try out again the next year. After the tryout was over, the coach for (what would be) the 12U team, asked to talk to my parents. The 12U NW Bullets offered me a spot right after the tryout was over. We accepted and have been with the Bullets since.
