Family First: How Support Shaped Allison Wilmore
Allison Wilmore receives instruction from her father during one of her early tee-ball games in Bastrop, Louisiana.

Allison Wilmore Reflects on Her Family’s Role

Allison Wilmore, a Class of 2026 Extra Select 153 outfielder and the No. 48-ranked outfielder in the Southeast Region, knows firsthand how important a strong support system can be in softball. Representing Impact Gold National 07 Wilmore and Prairie View Academy (LA), Wilmore has built her game around talent, drive, and—most importantly—unwavering family support. In this first-person feature, she reflects on the pivotal role her parents, grandparents, and sister have played in shaping her journey—from tee ball to committing to Belhaven University.

Next up: a behind-the-scenes look at how the Wilmore family turned car rides, road trips, and dugout pep talks into a foundation for resilience and success.
