February Recap
Throughout February, Extra Inning Softball continued its commitment to spotlighting influential voices in the softball world through our Voices From the Field series. This month, we had the privilege of featuring Tiffany Hall, Rhoda Horn, and Chris Estep, three individuals who are making a lasting impact on the game. From coaching and player development to recruiting and leadership, their insights offer valuable lessons for athletes, coaches, and families navigating the softball journey.
Tiffany Hall: A Leader in Player Development
With over a decade of experience coaching at both the recreational and travel ball levels, Hall has dedicated her career to helping young athletes grow. As the leader of the JTAA Seahawks Organization in Jupiter, FL, she has played a pivotal role in guiding players through the competitive softball landscape.
In her exclusive interview, Hall shared her passion for mentorship and leadership, emphasizing the importance of developing both skills and character in young athletes. Her commitment to fostering a supportive and challenging environment has made her a respected figure in the softball community. Through her work, she continues to inspire the next generation of players, teaching them the value of hard work, teamwork, and perseverance.

Rhoda Horn: Navigating the Recruiting Process
For student-athletes looking to play at the collegiate level, Horn has been an invaluable resource. As the owner of Recruiting with Rhoda, she has used her experience as a coach, recruiting advisor, and certified personal trainer to help players maximize their exposure and confidently navigate the recruiting process.
With a background in coaching for the Marin Girls Softball League, Horn understands the challenges athletes and families face when trying to stand out in a competitive field. In her interview, she provided insights into effective recruiting strategies, the importance of early preparation, and how players can take control of their own recruiting journey. Horn continues to be a trusted voice for aspiring college athletes, guiding them toward success on and off the field.

Chris Estep: Developing Champions and Future Leaders
Few coaches have demonstrated a stronger commitment to player development and team success than Estep. As the head coach of the Beverly Bandits Futures 11U, he has cultivated championship-level teams while instilling key values such as growth, teamwork, and mental toughness.
In his interview, Estep reflected on his coaching philosophy, emphasizing the importance of long-term development over short-term success. With a deep-rooted family legacy in coaching, he continues to shape young athletes into high-level competitors through structured training, a disciplined mindset, and a focus on both physical and mental preparation.

Looking Ahead
The Voices From the Field series remains a vital part of Extra Inning Softball’s mission to highlight the leaders, mentors, and game-changers within the softball community. The stories of Hall, Horn, and Estep serve as a reminder that coaching, recruiting, and development go beyond the game itself—they help shape the future of the sport and the athletes who play it.
Stay tuned for more exclusive interviews in the coming months as we continue to bring you firsthand insights from those who are making an impact at every level of the game.
