Grateful at the Plate: What Our Ranked Players Are Thankful For – 2027 Alexis Mujica
As part of Extra Inning Softball’s Thanksgiving series, we asked some of the top-ranked players what they’re most thankful for this season. Today, we’re featuring Alexis Mujica, a standout in the Class of 2027, who shared a heartfelt message about what matters most to her.
In her message, Mujica highlighted the influence of her family, saying, “I’m incredibly thankful for my parents, who have always pushed me to be a better player on and off the field, and my sister, who has been both my best friend and my role model.”
Hi, my name is Alexis Mujica. I’m a catcher from the 2027 class, and I’m here to recognize a few people I’m thankful for. The first people I’m thankful for are my parents. My parents have always pushed me to be a better player on and off the field and have always provided me with a great support system. The next people I’m thankful for are my teammates and the rest of my coaching staff. They always remind me why I love playing softball. The last person I’m thankful for is my sister. My sister has been my best friend and also my role model. – Alexis Mujica
It’s clear that Mujica deeply values the support and guidance of her family, a foundation that has played a pivotal role in her growth both on and off the field.
Currently ranked #97 in the Extra Elite 100 for the Class of 2027 Catchers, Mujica has made a name for herself with her impressive skills on the field. As a member of Power Surge Berndes – Mujica, she’s shown that hard work and gratitude go hand in hand.
