Why Hal’e Martin is One of the Best Behind the Plate

Martin Named Golden Glove Catcher

In the world of fastpitch softball, few positions demand the combination of toughness, leadership, and skill quite like catching—and Hal’e Martin is the perfect example of what it means to excel behind the plate. A standout senior at Canyon Hills High School in San Diego, California, Martin earned national recognition as part of the inaugural Extra Inning Softball x MaxPreps Top 25 Regional Golden Glove Award. Her work ethic, defensive talent, and leadership make her one of the most respected athletes in her class.
