Briony “Bri” Bunsic, a 2025 pitcher and middle infielder for Fury Platinum National—Davenport out of Talbot, Tennessee, accepted an offer to continue her academic and athletic career at Western Carolina University on September 24th while visiting the Cullowhee, North Carolina campus.
After winning a little league state championship in her younger years, Bri fell in love with the game and had visions of playing collegiate softball one day. Willing to put in the work to accomplish this daunting goal, Bri enlisted her father’s support, and the two have spent countless hours “chasing the dream” throughout the years.
