Why Evie Montgomery Chose the Raiders
Class of 2026 utility standout Evie Montgomery has found her next home. The Bandits Elite Premier Polk athlete has officially committed to Northwest Florida State College, where she’ll continue her softball career and pursue a nursing degree.
Montgomery made her decision in person in December 2024 after a campus visit that confirmed what she already felt in her heart. Guided by faith, family, and a strong team culture, Montgomery knew she had found the right fit.
“God was telling me it was the right place,” Montgomery said. “I felt at home there. The people and coaches are amazing. It just felt right.”
Keep reading to learn what sealed the deal, what she’ll bring to the Raiders’ roster, and why her future in the Panhandle Conference looks so bright.
