Gigi Lindsey accepted an offer to compete at the Division I level with the Baylor University Bears following her graduation from Parklane High School this spring.
An outfielder and third-baseman from McComb, Mississippi, Gigi is a five-time state champion and has received countless accolades through the years for her performance on the field. Most recently, she was honored as the MAIS All-Star Game Most Valuable Player after finishing up her final season with the Parklane squad.
Coach Greg Gatlin, who coaches Gigi in both high school and club realms, shared that her recruitment process was unique, as she made sure to wait for the right program for her, rather than taking an offer elsewhere in September when many athletes in her class were committing.
