Kaitlyn “KP” Pallozzi, ranked #5 overall in the Class of 2025 Extra Elite Top 100, as well as #3 as a Pitcher-Duo, has accepted an offer to continue dominating teams on the mound for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide.
Hailing from Wixom, Michigan, the pitcher and first-baseman discovered her passion for the sport at a young age, first picking up a ball at the age of six when she joined a local recreational league.
After a year competing at this level, the young athlete switched to a 10U travel team when she was just seven years old, playing third base and getting some time on the mound.
Following her third year in this division, Kaitlyn began working with pitching coach Alec Lesko, who she still trains with to this day.
“He is my hero and I couldn’t be more thankful for him,” shared Kaitlyn. “He has taught me so much about both the physical and, more importantly, the mental aspect of pitching.”
Though Kaitlyn’s first year in 12U was difficult, she persevered, finding the best out of a bad situation.
