Maddie Milhorn, a 2023 Gatorade Player of the Year, took the next step to reaching her Division I dreams on the 24th of September while on a phone call with Oregon Softball’s Head Coach Melyssa Lombardi.
“I could not be more excited to announce my decision to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Oregon!” shared the student-athlete in her Twitter announcement. “A big thank you to Tony Campos, Dennis Muir, Taylor Smith, Mariah Dawson, Kim Anthony, Andrea Bailey, Jason Trickel, and Lindsey Webster for being great coaches who have pushed me to be the best player I can be. Lastly, thanks to all of my current and past teammates, and especially my family and friends, who have always been my biggest fans. Go Ducks!
