The spring club season has gotten underway across the nation and throughout the spring club season, Extra Inning Softball will be recognizing the outstanding achievements of players from across the country.

Extra Inning Softball National Club Player of the Week
Tara Tarnowski has been selected as the Extra Inning Softball National Club Player of the Week. She plays for Impact Gold 2K9 National and is a pitcher and infielder.
Tarnowski was selected as the Pitcher of the Tournament at the Texas Fastpitch League Juniors Championship in College Station, Texas.
She shined in the circle for Impact Gold as she pitched 15.0 innings and struck out 20 batters while posting an earned run average of 0.00. Tarnowski held opponents to just six hits during the tournament and posted a WHIP of 0.93.
Her top outing of the weekend came in a shutout that went into extra innings where she pitched 6.0 innings, struck out 10 and permitted just two hits.
Tarnowski also had a solid weekend at the plate as she batted .364 with two triples and five RBIs.
Led by Tarnowski, Impact Gold 2K9 National finished third at the tournament.
Tarnowski was chosen to attend the USA Softball High Performance Program (HPP) National Selection Event and was one of 18 players named a top performer for her age group.
She was ranked No. 9 in the Extra Elite 100 rankings for the Class of 2028 and was named a Softball Factory All-American.
She is a multi-sport athlete and also competes on the volleyball and basketball teams.
