The spring club season has gotten underway across the nation and throughout the spring club season, Extra Inning Softball will be recognizing the outstanding achievements of players from across the country.

Extra Inning Softball National Club Player of the Week
Lalia Mejia has been selected as the Extra Inning Softball National Club Player of the Week. She plays for Beverly Bandits 2011 Perry and is a catcher and utility player.
Mejia helped lead Beverly Bandits 2011 Perry to a 6-2 record at the PGF Bandits 80 Tournament.
She batted .444 in eight games for the Bandits and posted a .722 slugging percentage and an OPS of 1.196.
Mejia, nicknamed cheeze, had two doubles, a triple and five singles among her eight hits on the weekend.
She is a 4.00 student in gifted classes and is on the Centerville Middle School track and field team.
