The spring club season has gotten underway across the nation and throughout the spring club season, Extra Inning Softball will be recognizing the outstanding achievements of players from across the country.

Extra Inning Softball National Club Player of the Week
Kandace Burnett has been selected as the Extra Inning Softball National Club Player of the Week. She plays for Epic National 2026 and attends Southmoore High School in Moore, Okla.
Burnett began the season in blazing fashion as Epic National 2026 competed at the USSSA 18U Opening Bash in Chickasha, Okla. She went 10-for-13 in five games and posted a .769 batting average.
Batting leadoff, Burnett posted a .769 on-base percentage, a 1.000 slugging percentage and a 1.769 OPS.
Epic National 2026 recorded a 4-1 record in the five games and Burnett had three doubles, four RBIs and notched seven singles.
She spent six innings behind the plate and did not allow a stolen base and posted a 1.000 fielding percentage.
Burnett, Class of 2026, helped lead Southmoore High School to the Oklahoma Class 6A state championship last year.
Off the field, Burnett was nominated for the Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence representing the state of Oklahoma.
