Mark your calendars—November 12th is National Signing Day, one of the most exciting moments in a young athlete’s journey. Across the country, committed softball players will officially sign their letters of intent, taking the next step toward their college dreams.
For some athletes, the signing celebrations have already begun, depending on their school’s schedule.
The anticipation builds as young athletes await this pivotal day, where dreams and dedication culminate in a signature.
But this year, Extra Inning Softball is taking Signing Day to a whole new level.
We invite everyone to join us in celebrating these moments. Stories of resilience and hard work underline the significance of Signing Day, illustrating the countless hours athletes dedicate to their sport.
Be Featured in Our Miniseries
We’re celebrating the Class of 2025 and beyond with a nationwide contest to spotlight committed players who represent the heart, hustle, and story of the game.
In addition to the contest, we aim to highlight how each player’s commitment reflects their journey, including the obstacles they overcame and the support they received from coaches and family. This initiative is more than a contest; it embodies the spirit of the game.
Players selected will be featured in an exclusive Extra Inning Softball miniseries—and a select few may even be chosen for a national documentary project highlighting the next generation of college stars.
The players featured will not only represent themselves but also inspire younger generations to pursue their dreams in the sport. Every story shared will hold the potential to motivate others who aspire to follow the same path.

How to Enter + Submission
Send us your best video footage and high-quality photos that capture your Signing Day moment.
📂 Step 1 — Upload to Google Drive

Upload your video(s) and photos into a single Google Drive folder.

Label each file with this format:
PlayerName_SchoolCommittedTo(example:AvaLopez_Texas). -
Set your sharing permissions to “Editor” so that our team can download the original files.
📧 Step 2 — Share by Email

Email your shared Drive folder link to ExtraInningSoftball@Gmail.com

Use the subject line: “Signing Day Submission – [Player Name], [School]”.

In the email body, include: your name, contact information, graduation year, position, high school, club team name, club coach and his/her contact information, the college you are committed to.
Video Requirements
Choosing the right setting for your video can make a significant impact. Bright lighting and a quiet environment will enhance the quality of your footage, allowing your emotions and excitement to shine through. Consider including a variety of angles in your clips. This will not only make your footage more dynamic but also provide a comprehensive view of your Signing Day experience.

Resolution: 4K (this refers to image clarity/resolution).

Frame Rate: 24fps (frames per second).

Format: ProRes preferred (high-bitrate MP4 also accepted).

Orientation: Landscape (filmed sideways 📸).

Audio: Natural sound preferred; avoid loud music or crowd noise.
Photo Requirements
Capture the essence of your personality through your photos. This moment is yours, so let it reflect who you are as an athlete and an individual.

Quantity: 3–5 high-quality, original photos (no screenshots).

Remember that every detail counts, from your video quality to the way your documents are organized. These small actions contribute to a powerful presentation of your journey.
