On the Clock: 2025 Extra Elite 100 Player Rankings Start May 23, 2022; Deadline to Submit Player Info is May 15

After finishing the 2026 Extra Elite 100 earlier in April with the Position Rankings, we’re now gearing up for the next class of player ratings as the updated 2025 Extra Elite 100 ratings are next! This will be the third time that players in this class will have been evaluated and ranked.

Below is the 2022 schedule for player rankings and deadline dates for submissions; also, click HERE for everything else you need to know for Extra Elite 100 player rankings!

As noted in the chart above, the Class of 2025 Extra Elite 100 coverage begins Monday, May 23, 2022 and, once started, for the following three weeks will include:

• the 2025 Extra Elite 100 ranked prospects with bios and photos,
• the players ranked #’s 101-500,
• a spotlight on the top player in the class,
• position rankings (pitchers, catchers, infielders, outfielders)

The rankings are led by Brentt Eads, Extra Inning Softball’s President & Executive Editor, along with the Extra Inning Softball staff with input from more than 250 college and club scouts and coaches.

Brentt, who originated the top 100 rankings lists used in softball, will now have ranked 14 grad classes, from 2014 to 2027, and–with updates until a class has graduated–has done a total of 36 class rankings.

If you would like to submit a player to be nominated, Click HERE to fill out our online form (NOTE: this is the preferred method for nominations!).

Or e-mail to brentt.eads@extrainningsoftball.com and send the following (as applicable): player name, position(s), club team, school, home city/state, stats, honors, individual and team accomplishments, events attended such as camps, human interest insights (anything interesting, unusual or different) and a head shot (if available, a good action photo also).

The deadline to forward player info is 5 pm EST on Sunday, May 15, 2022 to ensure athletes are considered before the lists are finalized.
