The Storm’s Unbelievable Start
Owyhee High School Softball is rewriting the story of high school fastpitch softball in Idaho. Based in Meridian, Idaho, and known as The Storm, this varsity team has become a force in just four years of existence. Led by veteran head coach John Carpenter, Owyhee has climbed to the No. 1 spot in Idaho’s 6A rankings after a dominant start to the 2025 season.
