Team USA Goes Undefeated
Information Provided by USA Softball
ACAPULCO, Mexico — The U.S. U-15 Women’s National Team (WNT) capped off an unforgettable performance at the 2025 Pan American Championship with a dominant 5-0 shutout over Mexico, finishing the tournament undefeated and claiming the gold medal. With the win, Team USA also secured a spot in the 2025 WBSC U-15 Women’s World Cup.
The championship matchup began at 3:30 p.m. MT, and the Eagles wasted no time showing their offensive power. Ashleigh Bronowicz led the charge, going a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate. She was joined by Amiyah Currie, Michaela Landers, and Abby Stenerson, who each added multi-hit performances. The U.S. offense came alive with three doubles from Bronowicz, Landers, and Khloe Williams, helping fuel the shutout victory.
In the circle, Malloree Harr set the tone with three strikeouts over five innings before Maci Barnes closed out the game with a strong sixth inning.
Why Team USA’s Performance Stands Out
Team USA’s win over Mexico wasn’t just about one game — it marked their seventh shutout of the tournament. The Eagles breezed through the Opening Round with dominant wins over Brazil, Argentina, Guatemala, and Venezuela. In the Super Round, they continued their unbeaten streak, defeating Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Canada to lock in the No. 1 seed.
Overall, the U.S. outscored opponents by an incredible 90-2 margin, winning six of their eight games by run-rule.
