Friday, March 6th in Bullhead City, Arizona saw a beautiful sunset take place during softball action at the Dave Kops Tournament of Champions.
In a photo taken by Dylan Estrada, Chino Hills (California) High batter Mykenzie Hanna gets ready to hit in the twilight early in the game.
Both teams would be tied 6-6 before the photographer’s sister, Kiana “Kiki” Estrada (ranked #17 in the 2022 Extra Elite 100 and an Arkansas commit), helped the Top 10 nationally-ranked Huskies blow open a tight contest against Marina (Huntington Beach, California) High as Estrada hit a two-out grand slam in the top of the 7th in the eventual 12-6 win.
Hanna would add the final pair of runs on a two-run homer before Chino Hills pitcher Kendall Mangel, ranked #32 in the 2021 Extra Elite 100 and a Nebraska signee, closed out the bottom of the 7th for the victory.
