Bradenton, Fl. – Softball superstar and LSU All-American, A.J. Andrews, becomes the latest player to sign with the Florida Vibe pro team.
Andrews, who made history in 2016 as the first woman in history to receive a Rawlings Gold Glove, also received a Rally Spikes award winner for most stolen bases in the NPF and NPF All- team member for success on the field.
“I’m excited to be a part of the VIBE to continue to show young women that their dreams are not only valid but attainable and I think VIBE is on the same mission as me,” stated Andrews. “VIBE impacts the game by letting softball players know that they will continue to have a space for them past college and that they don’t have to put a ceiling on their capabilities, college ball doesn’t have to be the end all be all.”
Andrews is the creator of Athlete on the Go and ABS With A.J. designed to motivate and inspire athletes to keep achieving their goals while providing a guide to getting things done more efficiently. She is a TV host with DraftKings, Eastbay and Host of ESPN TV Special Unapologetic: The Black female athlete and creator empowHER empowerment discussions.
