Reminder: Deadline For Extra Inning Softball 2023 High School All-American Teams, National Player & National Coach of the Year is Friday!

With the 2022-2023 Spring high school softball season wrapping up nationally–and with another great year of player performances (note: states such as Georgia, Missouri and Oklahoma play in the Fall)–it’s time to honor those talented and hard-working players who had stand-out seasons through our High School All-American Teams which includes our National High School Player & Coach of the year also!

Starting on Monday (June 26, 2023) we’ll begin recognizing the accomplishments of players who excelled at the high school level with the following schedule:

EXTRA INNNG SOFTBALL ALL-AMERICAN TIMELINE

• Monday, June 26 – Extra Inning Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Pitchers)
• Tuesday, June 27 – Extra Inning Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Catchers)
• Wednesday, June 28 – Extra Inning Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Infielders)
• Thursday, June 29 – Extra Inning Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Outfielders)
• Friday, June 30 – Extra Inning Softball 1st Team All-Americans (Multi-Purpose)
• Monday, July 3 – Extra Inning Softball 2nd Team All-Americans
• Tuesday, July 4 – Extra Inning Softball High School Player of the Year
• Wednesday, July 5 – Extra Inning Softball High School Coach of the Year

Those chosen will be selected based on the following factors:

• accomplishments, stats and honors this Spring
• importance in the success of the team (team record, finish in playoffs, etc.)
• on-field abilities, skills & talent (helpful: coach(es) evaluations)
• off-the-field resume, i.e. academic success, community involvement, etc.

To submit a player and/or coach for consideration, please email [email protected] no later than Friday, June 23 @ 5 pm EST to ensure possible inclusion on the lists.

Be sure to send in a head shot and/or an action shot if available.
