Camp Advice from former coach and D1 recruit Jayden Mount

As a former Division I recruit and college coach, I’ve been on both sides of the camp experience—trying to get noticed and evaluating athletes hoping to earn a spot. I’ve seen exactly what makes a player stand out—and what makes them blend in.

Softball camps are more than drills and reps. They’re chances to leave a lasting impression, build relationships, and take control of your recruiting journey. If you’re going to invest the time and money to attend one, make it count.

Here are my best tips to help you show up, stand out, and get noticed the right way.
