Honors: Honors Advanced Algebra 1; Honors English 9; Honors Physical Science; Honors Modern World History; and Spanish 1.
Travel Ball Fall Stats: Pitching — 61 IP, 153 Ks, 13 hits and 4 ER; Batting — 10 HRs and 28 RBIs.
High School Stats: Pitching — 8 GS, 8 wins, 47 IP, 111 Ks and .108 OBA; Batting — .536 AVG, 4 HRs and 10 RBIs.
Tell us about the Lady Dukes and how you became involved with them?
This will be my first season with the Lady Dukes organization. I attended an open workout with the organization in January and I immediately felt comfortable with my coaches — Megan Betsa and Logan Hebert and their team. The team is made up of players from all over the country, but we talk every day and have Zoom meetings on the weekends. We will definitely be a team to watch this summer!!!
Can you talk about your experiences at Austintown Fitch High and how you’ve done there?
This is my freshman year at Austintown Fitch and I couldn’t imagine it any better. Coach (Steven) Ward believes that team bonding is one of the most important aspects of the game and it shows with this team. We are always there for each other no matter the situation. We spend several days a week in the weight room, doing yoga, and other activities outside of softball.
I am taking all honors classes, which took a while for me to settle in, but I have maintained Honor Roll for the year. I changed schools going into this year and my previous school was online due to COVID for my entire 8th grade year, so there was quite an adjustment.
